Aluminum Flat Bar

Aluminum Flat Bar (rectangular bar) is most commonly produced through the process of extrusion or cold drawing. By this process, aluminum flat bar is manufactured by pushing the material (round billet or bar stock) through a die that is under pressure. These processes elongate the aluminum billet into a desired flat shape. Flat bar is likely used in metalworking or forging operations where it will be shaped into something usable. Flat bar can also be cut from thick plates upon request.
