It was reported that Wheels India, the largest manufacturers of wheels production for commercial vehicles in India, announced that it will invest 1.4 billion rupees to set up a new cast aluminum wheel factory, with an annual capacity of 750,000 wheels, in Thervoy Kandigai, Chennai, and the construction will launch operations in 2020.
According to Srivats Ram, Managing Director at Wheels India, although some weak industries have affected the auto parts business, the strong growth in the industrial components business offset certain effects.
