Aluminum Plate

Aluminum Plate is a rolled product that is rectangular in cross section and with thickness not less than 6.0mm (or 0.250 inches) with sheared or sawed edges. It is produced either by hot rolled or cold rolled process in coil, and then cut to length. Aluminum thick plate can also be produced by piece directly in straight length, depending on thickness. To obtain excellent properties, the plate (especially for heat treatable alloy) is usually processed by complicated and technical heat treatment. Besides, it is widely used in general industrial fabrication, and it is also used in the military and aerospace industry.
