India’s mining giant Vedanta reported that the company’s aluminum production totaled 594,000 tons in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024 (July 1 to September 30, 2023), rising by 1.7% from 584,000 tons in the corresponding period a year ago.
During the period, Vedanta Zinc International’s mined zinc production amounted to 66,000 tons, dropping by 10% year on year. The mined metal output at Zinc India slightly slid by 1% year on year to 252,000 tons.
