It was reported that Vedanta planned to invest INR 10,000 crore to set up an aluminum park in Odisha to attract downstream processing enterprises to build manufacturing bases here.
Small and medium downstream enterprises which set up their manufacturing bases in the aluminum park will benefit from 300,000 tons of molten aluminum (hot metal) from Vedanta’s aluminum smelter in Jharsuguda and produce their terminal products.
