According to reports, with the increase in the amount of aluminum used in the US transportation and packaging industries, a large amount of waste aluminum has been generated, driving recyclers to expand production capacity.

The US imposed a 10% tariff on primary aluminum imports, and scrap aluminum was excluded. At the same time, as scrap aluminum was exempted from import duties and oversupply, the current price of scrap aluminum was greatly reduced.

It was estimated that in the future, scrap aluminum will be a fairly good substitute.
