According to statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US produced 57,000 tons of primary aluminum in July, rebounding to the May level. The production in July was up by 3.6% compared to the previous month but dropped by 10.9% from the same month a year ago.
In the first seven months of this year, US primary aluminum output amounted to 396,000 tons, falling by 10.4% from the corresponding period a year earlier.
