On December 20, 2024, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its preliminary affirmative determination of the anti-dumping (AD) duty investigation on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids (disposable aluminum containers) from China, assigning a weighted average dumping margin of 193.90% to specific companies and 287.80% to all other producers/exporters.
The USDOC is scheduled to make its final determination on March 4, 2025.
The products involved are classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheading 7615.10.7125.
