On August 15, 2024, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) made a determination that the revocation of the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on common alloy aluminum sheets from China would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
Due to the USITC’s affirmative determinations, the existing AD and CVD orders on imports of subject goods from China will continue to be effective.
The final results of the expedited first sunset review of the AD and CVD orders on China-origin common alloy aluminum sheets were announced by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) on May 7, 2024.
