According to a panel of industry experts’ saying at the S&P Global Platts Aluminum Virtual Symposium, the demand for aluminum in the US was expected to keep increasing in the coming years due to consumers’ requirements in the beverage and automotive sectors.
Roxana Molina, Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at Novelis, said that Novelis will continue its scheduled investment so as to support the global beverage can and automobile manufacturing lines although the COVID-19 epidemic impacted customers’ demand in 2020.
