According to the market news, Alcoa Corp., one of the leading aluminum producers in the world, decided to suspend its production of aluminum at its plant which is located in Spain.
The main reason for the suspension was suffered by the skyrocketing energy price in Europe recently.
There’re several aluminum manufacturers in Europe also decided to cut their output in the recent few weeks, to react to the soaring energy price.
