United Company RUSAL (UC Rusal), the second-largest aluminum company in the world, announced the plans to deploy more than 20 new dry gas cleaning systems (DGCS) at smelters.
UC Rusal had been active recently, with DGCS, a new device developed by Rusal-sibvami (Irkutsk) and Rusal ITC (Krasnoyarsk), brought online in September this year (2019).
As the DGCS equipment would improve the operating environment of the smelter, Rusal was eager to set up more than 20 DGCS and praised its effectiveness.
For response, UC Rusal believed that their GSCS devices were far superior to other foreign counterparts and meet the current needs of sustainable development.
Moreover, Rusal recently announced three other sustainability initiatives, a tree-planting program, a scrap aluminum sales program and a massive financing program.
