Turkish CTC Mining planned to increase the output of bauxite by investing in a new mine since early July this year.
Currently, the daily output of bauxite in the new mine was around 2,000 tons, with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons.
However, after adding the new mine’s production, the total bauxite output of CTC Mining will come to 1.9 million tons per year, from 1 million tons annually.
In 2019, the goal for bauxite output was only 600,000 tons, which would increase by almost three times in 2020, achieving around 1.7 million tons.
