Tianshan Aluminium Co., Ltd. will sign the bauxite supply agreement with Australian Bauxite Limited (ABX) and its partner, Rawmin Mining And Industries Pvt. Ltd., (Rawmin).
The two will supply bauxite to a low-temperature alumina refinery under construction owned by Tianshan Aluminum, with initial supply volume of about 500,000 tons, which will gradually increase to 1 million tons.
The bauxite mine was from the Binjour project, located 115 km southwest of Bundaberg Port, and its bauxite here was suitable for low-temperature alumina smelting.
