Taiwan’s C.S. Aluminium Corporation (CSAC) and Sino Applied Technology (SiAT) together presented the test results for their carbon-coated aluminum foil product at Battery Show Detroit 2024.

The material, first introduced in February, can improve battery performance and durability, attracting the attention of battery and electric vehicle producers.

With excellent exceptional conductivity and the ability to significantly reduce interfacial contact resistance, the material has key advantages in lithium battery production.

The material's superior corrosion resistance can effectively extend the cycle life of the battery. The carbon-coated aluminum foil is compatible with lithium and sodium batteries as well as supercapacitors, meeting the market demand for faster charging and longer battery life.
