It was reported Sierra Mineral Holdings Limited, a major producer of bauxite in Sierra Leone, announced its plans to export 600,000 tons of bauxite to China in 2019.
The company's bauxite mine has an annual capacity of 2.4 million tons, and its annual output was 2 million tons in 2018. The company will build two new washery plants and expected to increase its monthly bauxite production to 200,000 tons from 160,000 tons in July.
