RUSAL announced its aluminum production in the fourth quarter of 2017 was around 943,000 tons, up by 1.4% compared with the same period of last quarter. Among them, the production of Siberian smelter accounted for 94% of the total production with the capacity utilization rate of 97%.
In 2017, the production of RUSAL's aluminum totaled around 3.71 million tons, increasing by 0.6% compared with the same period of last year; the sales were around 3.96 million tons, rising by 3.6% compared with the same period a year earlier.
