According to the statistics, United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), the second largest aluminum company in the world, had a month-on-month increase of 49% in aluminum exports in June.

RUSAL’s president Oleg Deripaska was previously included in the US’ sanctions blacklist because he was accused of intervening in the US election. Oleg Deripaska and his team were striving for the cancellation of sanctions from the US Department of the Treasury, and promised that its US customers will reduce their business with RUSAL by October 23rd.

Meanwhile, RUSAL kept exporting its aluminum products. Based on the data, RUSAL’s smelter exported a total of around 290,000 tons of aluminum in June.
