It was reported that United Company RUSAL (RUSAL)’s alumina plant in Mykolayiv, southern Ukraine, said yesterday (April 29th) that it might have no choice but to suspend its production temporarily after the Ukraine Customs authorities’ blockade on bauxite supplies.
The Ukrainian alumina plant relies on bauxite imports and exporting alumina for RUSAL’s Siberian aluminum smelters.
