RUSAL, a global leading aluminum supplier in Russia, will start to use ALLOW INERTA aluminum, the primary aluminum with the world’s lowest carbon footprint, in the production of SAYANA foil.
The first batch of 20 tons of ALLOW INERTA aluminum has been shipped to the SAYANAL foil rolling plant from the pilot industrial site of the Krasnoyarsk Aluminium Smelter (KrAZ) for the manufacturing of SAYANA foil.
The first shipment of ALLOW INERTA aluminum was delivered to major companies from the KrAZ pilot industrial site in 2021, and more than 4,100 tons of aluminum were produced during the pilot testing period.
