It was reported that the operation at Achinsk Alumina Refinery has been restarted, according to a statement from United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), the second-largest aluminum company in the world.
The alumina plant was temporarily suspended on Monday (August 5th) due to a nearby fire accident at a military base. The accident occurred with explosions at a Russian military base in the Krasnoyarsk region.
Achinsk Alumina Refinery is the largest alumina producer in Russia.
