It was reported that Roman Andryushin, Sales and Marketing Director at United Company RUSAL (RUSAL), said that the company is currently having a talk with its customers about the supply agreements for 2020, hoping to recapture customers who were lost in the previous year due to US’ sanctions on RUSAL.
However, Roman Andryushin said that RUSAL was in a difficult situation while talking about the supply agreements since the trade war lowered the global economy and even the aluminum market.
Although the US has lifted the sanction against RUSAL in January this year, the trade disputes aroused by the US had a negatively impact on the demand in the global aluminum market.
