According to a recent report by the Aluminum Association, recycling rates for aluminum cans had increased by 3% to 73%.
The recyclability of aluminum products was a popular issue. The high recovery rate of aluminum cans had been outdistancing glass and plastic products and became the main product of environmental protection recycling system.
As the pillar of the recycling system, every can should be reasonably recycled, which was of great significance to the resource protection of future generations.
Statistics showed that every 5% increase in the rate at which consumers recycle aluminum saved landfills about US$100 million, making modern recycling systems economically viable.
