Novelis Inc., a Georgia-based industrial aluminum company, signed a three-year strategic agreement with TSR Recycling GmbH & Co. KG.
Under the deal, TSR Recycling will supply around 75,000 tons of presorted end-of-life material to be processed at Novelis Nachterstedt Recycling Center for the production of low-carbon aluminum sheets used in the automotive industry.
The agreement supports growing market demand for high-recycled-content aluminum. Both Novelis and TSR Recycling are leading the market in different areas of the aluminum recycling chain. Their joint collaboration will accelerate the shift to a circular economy and thereby contribute to the decarbonization of the aluminum industry in Europe and other regions.
