Novelis, the leading producer of flat-rolled aluminum products and the world's largest recycler of aluminum, announced that it had signed a long-term agreement with Coca-Cola Bottlers' Sales & Services Company.
According to the agreement, Novelis will supply Coca-Cola's authorized North American bottlers with aluminum can sheets for the Coca-Cola Company's family of iconic brands.
Besides, the agreement also includes closed-loop recycling, in which Novelis can directly take back the generated scrap from the making process, recycle it and transform it into a new can sheet. Apart from that, Novelis recycles more than 80 billion used beverage cans annually and converts them into new packing.
