To continue their efforts to decarbonize the aluminum industry and support decarbonization in numerous adjacent industries relying on aluminum, Novelis, the largest recycler of aluminum globally, declared that they had joined the First Movers Coalition (FMC) this week. Novelis will help FMC actively seek out new ways to reduce carbon emissions.
The FMC is a joint venture between the United States Department of State and the World Economic Forum founded in October 2021. Also, FMC is an organization that aims at decarbonizing several “hard to abate” sectors globally.
