Novelis is the world’s largest recycler of aluminum. In the first quarter, Novelis’ sales came to around US$3 billion, increasing slightly than the same period of last year. In the fiscal year 2019, the firm's sales value reached around US$12.3 billion, which was up by 8% compared to last year.
Although the price of aluminum blunted further gains, the sales still pushed the profit rose.
Novelis not only began construction on organic expansion plans to increase automotive capacity in the US, China, Brazil and Switzerland, but also continued to aim strong cash flow to fund strategic investments for the company future.
Novelis gets 8% improvement in sales in 2019
