Norsk Hydro ASA, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, submitted a report of the review for Alunorte alumina refinery from the internal working team and the third-party of Brazilian environmental consulting firm SGW Services on April 9th.
The results of the review showed that there was no radioactive contamination to the local area after the rainfall, and also proposed the suggestions of improvement afterward. If it was confirmed that there was no pollution during the production, Alunorte alumina refinery’s supply would be restarted.
