According to the announcement from Norsk Hydro ASA, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, it's Paragominas mine and Alunorte alumina refinery in Brazil had both influenced by the power-off event but expected not to affect the financial report and the right of customers.
The main reason for the power off was caused by a transmission tower overturned.
After the power outage, the current capacity of Alunorte had been adjusted by left around 50-70%.
The electricity power would be expected to recover within 5-10 days, and fortunately, there were no injured or death created this time.
