A week after suffering severe ransomware infection, Norsk Hydro estimated that the total loss has reached US$40 million.
Last Friday, Norsk Hydro said that it has recovered almost now, and most operations can be run in a normal state. The biggest impact of this attack was the sales department. The European, North American and precision pipe divisions have returned to normal operation, but the building systems department was still stagnant, which was expected to gradually resume its production and shipments this week.
