Mingtai Aluminum, a leading manufacturer of aluminum products in China, expected that its net profit will reach RMB 800 million to 850 million in the first half of this year, growing by 128% to 142% compared to the same period a year ago.
During the period, the aluminum demand from downstream automobiles and new energy vehicles battery sectors was strong. The processing charges of Mingtai Aluminum's 5 series, 6 series aluminum, and aluminum foil rose, and high value-added products accounted for more proportions, so the firm’s overall profit had a significant year-on-year increase.
