Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, reported its bauxite output totaling around 476,000 wet metric tons (WMT), and the shipment was 455,000 WMT.
In the first 2 months of this quarter (June-July), the total output of bauxite reached around 919,000 WMT, and the total shipment was around 918,000 WMT.
As of August, Metro Mining’s bauxite output amounted to approximately 1.82 million WMT in 2019, and the shipment was 1.75 million WMT roughly.
It was expected that the firm’s output and shipment of bauxite will achieve 3.3-3.5 million WMT in 2019 if the production can be kept at the current level in the remaining time.
