Masonite International Corporation, a global leading door company, announced that its US subsidiary has acquired Fleetwood Aluminum Products, LLC for US$285 million in cash. Masonite said it plans to operate Fleetwood as an independent business unit within its North American Residential business segment.
Howard Heckes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Masonite, said that it was the company’s second acquisition in 2023 as part of its Doors That Do More strategy, aiming to expand the product portfolio and meet demand from new and non-traditional markets with innovative and differentiated door systems.
Masonite International, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is a global leading designer, manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of interior and exterior doors for the new construction and repair, renovation, and remodeling sectors of the residential and non-residential building markets.
