Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd, a Malaysia-based company engaged in aluminum products sector, announced a plan to build its third aluminum smelter plant in Samalaju with an annual capacity of 320,000 tons.
It was understood that the construction of the project has been started earlier this month, and it was expected that the project will be completed within one year.
Press Metal is mainly engaged in producing and trading aluminum ingot and aluminum alloy, and it currently has a total annual smelting capacity of 760,000 tons.
