Kaiser Aluminum Corporation, an American aluminum producer, reported acquiring a US$375 million credit line from financial institutions on Wednesday last week.

In response, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation mentioned it would boost the company's operations over the next five years and greatly increased financial flexibility.

Jack a. Hockema, Kaiser Aluminum's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said credit was also made available because of confidence in Kaiser's business and Kaiser's ability to remain competitive.

On the other hand, the success of the borrowing was due to Kaiser's high value of machinery and equipment, as well as its high inventory and high amount of loans that need to be recovered.

Kaiser Aluminum Corporation was founded in 1946 and sold aluminum plates, profiles, bars, and special-purpose aluminum products worldwide.
