It was reported that Japanese Daiki Aluminium Industry Co., Ltd. will start its aluminum plant in India. Daiki Aluminium Industry India is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Japan-based Daiki Aluminium Industry Co., Ltd.

Daiki Aluminium has invested in production facilities in the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. Daiki will start its operation in its scrap-fed aluminum alloys mill in Sri City, India. This mill will start its operation by February of 2020. This mill's yearly operational capacity will reach 84,000 tons of aluminum ingot production.

The investment of the new mill's facility will cost around US$36 million. This mill will be located in a government Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ).

Daiki planned to export recycled-content ingots to Asian countries. The mill's raw material initially will come from India, and the supply might also come from other countries in the future.
