According to the statistics, the output of aluminum products in Japan totaled around 172,000 tons in April, dropping by 2.9% year on year, which fell for 4 consecutive months.
Among them, the output of aluminum plate used in the production of aluminum cans, electronic equipment, automotive components and for exporting decreased by 4.7% year on year to around 106,500 tons, which also fell for 4 consecutive months. Besides, the output of aluminum mainly used in construction and automobile industries increased by 0.1% year on year to around 65,400 tons, which was the first rise in 4 months compared with the same period last year.
