Japan Aluminium Association (JAA) announced the Japanese aluminum monthly report for April on May 29th. The total production of aluminum decreased by 3% year on year to 167,000 tons roughly in April, which has decreased for 16 months.
The president of JAA said that according to the electric vehicles strong demand, aluminum played a key role, and the manufacturers should keep the confidence on the market.
