It was reported that Italian CIE jointly developed a technology of zero liquid discharge (ZLD) for aluminum finishing lines with MST Chemicals.
The technology could realize the wastewater treatment’s reuse rate up to 98%, reduce operating costs by 40%, lower the costs of production line installation and commissioning by 30%, and so on.
The technique was well used in the pickling lines for aluminum products surface treatment, anodized aluminum color lines and painting lines.
Aluminum products will have high quality after alkaline cleaning, so the technology was viewed as the most effective process for aluminum finishing so far.
