It was reported that the a national research university in Russia has developed a technology which could produce hydrogen with chemical and aluminum scrap, and for those hydrogen made by scraps could be used in the vehicle power supply system and the fixed small power devices.
The hydrogen produced by the reaction of aluminum in water, and it could be applied in generating electricity of fuel-battery.
Aluminum is a kind of active metal with oxidation slowly in the air, yet the abandoned aluminum would be corroded in a short time and release hydrogen to cause air pollution. Some European countries recycle wasted aluminum and other nonferrous metal wastes to sort and smelt as useful raw material.
