Inner Mongolia North Aluminum's high-end aluminum plate and foil project has entered the trial production phase. Launched in March 2023, this project, located in the Huolingol High-Tech Development Zone, spans 300 acres and will have an annual capacity of 200,000 tons. The total investment for the project is CNY 1.5 billion.

The facility will feature advanced production systems, including casting rolling, cold rolling, foil rolling, and color coating units. It will produce a range of products such as battery foil, double-zero foil, and decorative foil.

As of early July, two casting and rolling lines and one cold rolling line have begun trial operations. The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025, generating an annual output value of CNY 5 billion, contributing CNY 250 million in tax revenue, and creating over 500 jobs. The project will also utilize local resources effectively and incorporate high-speed color coating lines, enhancing the industrial chain and product value.
