The safeguard measure committee of the World Trade Organization (WTO) stated that the Indonesian representative has submitted the report of safeguarding measures on October 11th, 2018. The petitioner of application was the domestic aluminum extrusion association.
The Indonesian safeguarding measure committee has conducted the investigation of safeguard measures on foreign aluminum foils. The products involved were with the custom codes 7607.11.00 and 7607.19.00.
Some market participants explained that some stakeholders could submit the resignation of paper and electronic version within 15 days since the announcement. The Indonesian safeguard measure committee expected to hold the public hearing on October 29th, 2018.
