India’s Adani Group announced that it had set up a wholly-owned subsidiary named Mundra Aluminium Limited on December 17 to establish an alumina refinery and an aluminum smelter.
Adani Group has operated mainly in the fields of ports, airports, electricity, natural gas distribution, and so on. Now the group is preparing to enter the aluminum industry.
This unit hasn’t yet started operations. It has authorized and paid up 100,000 rupees in share capital.
