According to the financial report released by Vedanta Limited, a mining company headquartered in India, in the quarter as of June 30th (from April to June 2019), the firm’s revenue was around 211.7 billion rupees, down by 4% compared to the same period a year ago. Its profit after tax (PAT) was 13.5 billion rupees, a year-on-year drop of 12%.
Among them, its Zinc India's alumina production surged by 37% year on year to around 450,000 tons, and the zinc production had a year-on-year increase of 3% to 220,000 tons roughly.
