It was reported that Indian National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) will launch Aluminum Alloy 1200 (AA 1200) to its current product series.
AA 1200 has strong corrosion resistance, high reflectivity and thermal conductivity, similar to AA 1100 and widely applied in the production of LED light bulb.
According to NALCO, its smelter plant has started the commercial production of this new alloy in August this year.
Tapan Kumar Chand, Chairman and Managing Director of NALCO, said that NALCO will continue to expand its market by adding new products, and the new AA 1200 will be helpful to develop new markets and raise NALCO's profitability in such a competitive environment.
