According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled around 5.2 million tons in February, sliding by 9.15% from the revised 5.73 million tons in the previous month.
IAI said that China’s output of primary aluminum during the period was estimated at 3.017 million tons, compared to the revised 3.32 million tons in January.
