According to data released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production rose by 73,000 tons to 2.2 million tons in December 2018, down by 17,000 tons compared to December 2017.
Among them, Chinese primary aluminium production in December was expected to be around 3.14 million tons, which was higher than the revised 3.04 million tons in November.
