According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled around 5.44 million tons in December 2019, hiking from 5.26 million tons in the previous month.
Among them, the global primary aluminum production, excluding China, totaled around 2.24 million tons, up from last month’s 2.16 million tons, and the output from China was around 3.05 million tons, rising from 2.95 million tons in November 2019.
