According to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled 5.871 million tons in September, down by 3% compared to the previous month but rising by 2.7% from the same month a year ago.
In September, the global average daily output of primary aluminum was 195,700 tons, compared to 195,200 tons in the previous month.
The estimated output of China's primary aluminum was 3.5 million tons in September, compared to the revised output of 3.607 million tons in August.
