According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled around 5.48 million tons in March, growing from the amended 5.15 million tons in the previous month.
Separately, the primary aluminum output in China was expected to hike by 3.1 million tons in March, compared to the amended 2.9 million tons in February.
